    Our night tours explore the maze of backstreet bars and restaurants around JR Tenma station, which is one of the best areas to experience real Osakan nightlife.

    Wander lantern lit lanes, check out impossibly tiny restaurants & sneak into old standing bars to rub shoulders with locals catching a bite & beer after work.

  • Food and drinks

    During the tour you'll taste Osaka's signature dish Takoyaki, eat delicious Yakitori and kushikatsu, and kick back with the locals over Japanese beer and sake.

Born and raised in Osaka, Yuki has visited over 75 countries and speaks 4 languages – Japanese, English, French and Italian – and also has the title of sommelier and International Kikisake-shi (sommelier for Japanese sake).

Dietary Requirements

Osaka is a little behind the curve on plant based cuisine but there are a few options, the best thing to do in this situation is get in touch in advance to talk about specifics!

Meeting Point

The meeting point for the tour is JR Tenma station. The easiest way to get here is to first take a train or subway to JR Osaka station and then transfer to the Osaka loop line. Tenma is one stop from Osaka in a clockwise direction.

Do I need to make a reservation?

Yes. Prior reservation is required. Booking 2 days in advance is highly recommended, especially spring and autumn.

Is there an age limit?

There is no set age limit, but please note that our nightlife tours will be usually quite adult environments, if you are traveling with small children, please consider a private family tour as we will be able to tailor more to your needs.

How and who should I contact if I need to cancel the tour?

We often have riders on a waiting list, so please send us an email in advance if you need to cancel. A full refund is available to guests who cancel at least 24 hours in advance.

This is not available for no shows or those guests who cancel with less than 24 hours notice.

What’s the time commitment?

The Osaka night tour is approximately 4 hours. Starts at 6pm and finishes at 10pm.
